One legged pub

The 'One-Legged Shunter' bar is one of just fifty or so pubs that CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) lists as worthy of note in Staffordshire in its annual UK Beer Guide.
Yet, this little bar can only hold twenty people at best, and is only open weekends!

What makes it unique of course is that it is sited in the Foxfield Railway Conservation set-up, which is in Blythe Bridge, just south of Stoke-on-Trent, and is run by volunteers.
Still - to get CAMRA recognition is pretty good...

  1. The One Legged Shunter is open Fridays 17.00 - 23.00. Saturdays from 17.00, and from 12.00 on Sundays. This week 08-11-13 they have Duchess, Full Steam Ahead, and local brews Iceberg, Plum Porter, Stone the Crows andWayland Smithy as well as Freedom lager and Thatcher's Gold cider. They also stock a range of their own local bottledbeers, available singularly and now in a presentation pack ( ideal for Xmas present for all real ale lovers ).
