Very grave Christmas trees

These are the oddest grave decorations I ever saw: mini Christmas trees!  I spotted them at the churchyard of Holy Cross in Ilam

Being as it's Twelfth Night this evening - when tradition says Xmas decorations should be taken down - will they be gone tomorrow morning?

  1. A bit rude of you to take pictures of peoples graves and make derogatory comments about the trees that have been left by family members!

    1. I don't think I was being derogatory. Such decoration is unusual in this part of the world; and worth noting.

I'm not sure they were even left by family members. It may have been a church project.

  3. I have seen little Christmas Tree decorations on graves before, but not quite like those ones. The one with the two baubles just doesn't look right.

Thank you for linking up with Cemetery Sunday

    1. Thanks for your comment. Yes, now other people have seen this phtoo, they have commented that Christmas decorations on graves are not as unusual in other places as they are here. Interesting to learn that!
