Grotesquely frightening

'Grotesque' pillar-stop in Bradeley Church.

This is one of the 'grotesques' that you will find acting as a pillar-stop in the Lady Chapel at Bradeley Church.
Its job is to scare off evil spirits.  It sure frightens me.
